Join us as we recognize MLK Day of Service by restoring and cleaning up North SeaTac Park! Together, we’ll help restore one of our local green spaces through trash and debris removal and trail maintenance.

Activities will include pulling ivy, digging out blackberry, mulching and cleaning up any litter along our way.

What to Bring

No experience is necessary! Please bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, sturdy, closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, pants, a water bottle, and any questions or suggestions you may have. Restoration events happen rain or shine; check the weather and make sure to bring a rain jacket if needed. All other tools, training, and gloves will be provided.

Where to Meet

We will meet in the planting zone to the south of the parking lot in the northwest corner of the park, off Des Moines Memorial Drive. Look for a table with a sign-in sheet and a line of shovels or other tools on the ground.

Where to Park

Parking is available in the northwest corner of the park, off Des Moines Memorial Drive. Additional parking is available at Sunset Park located at 13800 16th Ave S. Park in the parking lot or along shoulder of 16th Ave S. and walk north to cross S. 136th Street. Look for event signage for assistance.
