North SeaTac Park - Summer Mulching at N …07/12/2025

Activities

Come learn about our growing volunteer-planted forest in North SeaTac Park, its valuable ecological services to our community, and how you can help protect it from common weeds such as blackberry and ivy. For this event, we will be focusing on creating mulch rings around the new plants that were planted this past winter by volunteers. This both helps them remain more visible to patrons of the park and can provide a protective barrier from encroaching weeds.
