Angle Lake Nature Trail - Spring Native Forest Restoration05/10/2025

Activities

Join TDHS community members for our spring gathering and work event at Angle Lake Park. We will do weeding and mulching to help the new native plantings thrive in the upcoming warm and dry months. Your efforts make a difference in creating and sustaining this public green space! No experience is necessary and all are welcome.

Weather permitting, we will stay at the park after our work for picnic lunch (bring your own.) Angle Lake Park has a playground, beach, and spray park to enjoy.

All ages OK

12 out of 30 participants registered.

What to Bring

- Dress in layers and appropriate for weather: Clothes that can get dirty, sturdy shoes, long sleeves (to protect from thorns).

- Gardening/work gloves if you have them; we will also provide.

Where to Meet

We will be meeting ON THE NATURE TRAIL. From the parking lot, walk towards the lake on the circle driveway and look for a trail entrance off to the right. Follow the paved trail south along the lake ~400 ft and you will find us with a canopy and table! We will have signs directing you as well.

There is parking available at Angle Lake Park: 19408 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188-5307.

For LIGHT RAIL USERS: Angle Lake Park is 1/2 mile from the Angle Lake Light Rail Station. From the station, go East on 200th street, then left (North) on International Blvd. Turn Right on 195th Street to enter Angle Lake Park. Then follow directions above to find the nature trail.
