SUMMARY: Event Third Sunday Forest Rescue at North SeaTac Park
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Help restore beautiful North SeaTac Park's forest! Volunteers have been transforming this site - nicknamed "The Enchanted Glade" since fall of 2020. When we started, most of this site was dominated by a thick growth of blackberry vines and mats of ivy that covered the ground and tree trunks and entangled the lower branches of trees. This has been cleared in a large area, allowing native plants to begin to return. Over 100 additional native trees and other plants have been planted by volunteers as well.

We will focus on protecting old and new native trees and other plants by removing ivy, thistle, and blackberry weeds and applying mulch. Come learn some restoration basics and help out your community. This is work that really matters!
